Mora Soan is a dedicated author and the creative force behind the captivating book "Jacob in Japan." Despite obtaining a degree in business accounting and a pharmacy technician certificate, Mora felt a deep longing for a greater sense of fulfillment. This inner calling led her to work with children at Kate Waller Barrett Elementary School. In 2019, she set out on a life-changing adventure, revisiting her native Cambodia and stopping over in Japan. During this journey, she immersed herself in the captivating culture, cuisine, and people of Asia. Mora's love for travel, gnomes, and books ultimately inspired her to create "Jacob in Japan."
About the Illustrators
"Jacob in Japan" is a joint project between Mora and her gifted daughter Lana, as well as Lana's close friend Yewon, resulting in breathtaking illustrations. The book is a high-quality children's book featuring the vibrant and captivating artworks of these incredibly talented teenagers. Their illustrations come to life with intricate details and techniques that truly resonate with the heart.
